The idea for this photoshooting came about because of the month of „February“!

So why is February so special? And why is this month an inspiration for the Make-up Artist and the Photographer?

In February the love in the air can be felt especially strongly. Not only because of Valentine's Day, which is also justified, but it is also the last month of winter!

The days are getting longer and we feel more desire to live and to enjoy every moment. It is practically a month of transition from winter to summer. In January we are still in "Christmas mode" and hibernation. We feel comfortable and don't think about the „baby fat“ we collected over winter:) We don’t necessarily think about new love or have less desire to fall in love again. We don’t really think about expressing ourselves. We also don’t care about the perfect haircut or what beautiful things to wear. But „February“ brings all of these changes with it!

We suddenly feel the desire and the butterflies in our stomach, our soul is crying out for change! We're starting to be a lot more playful and try new things. The month of February is somehow shaking us awake and that is a fantastic feeling!


If you pay attention to the color that is predominant in the pictures, then you will notice „Pink“. The Photographer Andy Holub and the Make-up Artist Nelly Morena chose this color, because it symbolizes youth, good health, and playfulness. It's the flush of first love and stands for nurturing femininity.
